Feeds on invertebrates such as shrimps and other crustaceans (Ref. 46829), in the biocover or in the recesses of the substrate (Ref. 7343, 46829). Solitary (Ref. 46829). Substrate spawner; raises fry in seclusion (Ref. 7343).
