背的軟條 (總數): 86; 臀鰭軟條: 66. M. rosenblatti differs from all other species of the genus by the following combination of characters: head long with elongate, pointed snout, skull length 5.3-7.9% TL, rostral fang strongly hooked with distal part in a nearly right angle to dorsal profile of skull, (5)-6-(7) teeth in each jaw, dorsal fin origin above myomeres nos. 9-12, and 4-(5) lateral, subdermal spots of pigmentation.
M. rosenblatti 在組合特徵之後有別於所有的其他種的本屬藉由: 頭部長的有細長的, 尖的吻,頭蓋骨長度 5.3-7.9% TL, 嘴的尖牙強烈地以末梢部的部份鉤住在一幾乎對頭蓋骨的背面輪廓的直角,(5)-6-(7)齒在每個頜中, 在 myomeres 不上面的背鰭起點。 9-12, 與 4-(5)顏色的側面又皮下斑點。
