脊椎骨: 33 - 34. Body without dark stripes. Cavity with deep post-oral skinfold around mouth. A submarginal band on posterior part of paired fins. Origin of pectoral fin behind corner of the mouth. Origin of pelvic in front of dorsal-fin origin; pelvic fin reaching anal-fin origin; dorsal keels on pelvic-fin rays continuously or marginally serrated. Absence of skin-fold between oropectoral membrane and ventral surface of head. Lateral line with 40-47 scales (Ref. 40433).

描述: 背鰭有 3 單一的與 8個分支條,持續對基底的一個劈開; 臀鰭有 2 單一的與 4個分支條 , 第二的單一鰭條平坦的有細側面的鋸齒, 這一個鰭條柔軟的最後面部份與接合; 胸鰭有 1 單一的與 23-24個分支條, 持續被達到的腹鰭的鰭條覆蓋前部垂直的分枝腹鰭鰭條 5-8 的基底; 腹鰭有 1, 很少地 2, 單一的與 19-21個分支條, 大部份達成臀鰭起源.(參考文獻 40433)
Collected from streams with shallow rapids; current relatively slow and water very clear; deep pools with detritus and muddy or sandy substrate. Stomach contents indicate that this species feeds on aquatic invertebrates (Ref. 40433).
