Espinas dorsales (total): 0; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 12; Espinas anales 0; Radios blandos anales: 8. Distinguished by its anterior nostril at the extremity of a small tube; axillary pelvic lobe rudimentary or absent; a complete lateral line; about 8-11 well marked vertical bars on the sides; often a vermiculated pattern on the cheeks (Ref. 27732).
