Comments

Icelandic sources indicate that this species does not to occur off the northern coast (Jónsson and Pálsson, 2013). It is a common member of the deep-southwest assemblage off Iceland caught in all annual surveys from 1996 to 2007 (Stefansdottir et al. 2010). West of Iceland the distribution extends north to 66°N on the southern slopes of the Greenland-Iceland Ridge, and eastward, on the southern slopes of the Iceland-Faroe Ridge but not north of it (Ref. 119696). Also Ref. 247.
