Reported from Honshu [Osezaki, west coast of Izu Peninsula (underwater photo, KPM-NR 27345); Osaka Pref.; Tanabe Bay and Kushimoto-cho, Kii Peninsula, Wakayama Pref. (based on underwater photos; KPM-NR 41933)]; Shikoku [Ehime Prefecture; Kochi Pref.]; Kyushu [Nagasaki Pref., ; Kagoshima Pref.]. Spawning season extends from the middle of May to the beginning of October in Kinko Bay, Japan (Ref. 75631) |
