Known from the Kuriles and Sakhalin (Ref. 82587). A population exists in Ilistaya River, Khanka Lake basin (Ref. 82587). Occurs along the eastern coast of Sakhalin (from where it enters the Tym River, apparently in July), Poronai River. Rarely found in Peter the Great Bay (Ref. 593).
