Found in the lower and middle Xe Bangfai river (Ref. 27732), Khone Falls (Ref. 37772) and Ban Hang Khone at Don Khone, 3 km below the fall line of the great waterfalls at Lee Pee (Ref. 9497). A migratory species (Ref. 37772). Enters flooded forest on Don Khone, just below the great waterfalls (Ref. 9497).
