Known from Shantou (holotype of G. petersenii), Fuzhou, Woosung, Shanghai, Chihli (syntypes of T. petshiliensis); Lüshun (holotype of T. abbotti) (Ref. 45323). Also reported as O. rubicundus from the drainages in Guangdong Province (Huanggang He and its river mouth; Han Jiang and its river mouth; Lian Jiang and its river mouth; Longjin He and its river mouth; Dong Jiang; Zhu Jiang delta; Moyang Jiang and its river mouth; Suiqi He and its river mouth), and from drainages in Hainan Island and their river mouths (Ref. 33496).
