Comments

Known only from the Mwanza Gulf in southern Lake Victoria. South of Python Islands, this species lives at moderately to steeply sloping shores. Its restriction to the western side of the Mwanza Gulf north of Python Islands coincides with differences in the shoreline morphology. While the eastern shore slopes steeply and is made up of large and huge boulders, the western side slopes moderately steep and is made up of more mediun sized boulders.
