Type locality: río Comberciato, a small tributary of middle río Urubamba, 30 miles above the Pongo de Mainique, Cusco, MCZ 31565 (holotype fo Hemibrycon helleri, 7.89 cm SL, female) (Ref. 85819). Known from the Amazon River (Ref. 6329); also recorded from the Rio Urubamba (Ref. 598). Also Ref. 38376, 75799. |
