Found in the mouth of Rio Negro, in Rio Branco at Boa Vista and Serra Grande (Ref. 6868). Also found in the lower rio Demini, a tributary of the rio Negro (Ref. 56896). Two large adults were recently collected in the rio Jamanxim in the middle Tapajós, extending the range of this species to the Brazilian Shield (Ref. 79526). |
