Endemic: SE Sulawesi (Ref. 47567). Museum: Sulawesi, Barang Lompo, 12 km north of Udjung Pandang, NTM S.10663-002 (holotype, 4.13 cm SL, male) (Ref. 7401). Also known from underwater photograph from Banggai Islands, off central-eastern Sulawesi (Ref. 90102).
