Type locality of Coralliozetus randalli, Bahía de Charagato, Cubagua I., Nueva Esparta. endemic to Venezuela and present along much of the Venezuelan coastline (islands of the northeast, Margarita Island and Isla Cubagua, the Paria and Araya Peninsulas and Gulf of Cariaco; westward along the coastline: at Mochima in Sucre; the Piritu Islets, off Anzoátegui; San Esteban in Carabobo; Ocumare in Aragua (AMNH specimens, photographs); Morrocoy National Park in Falcon to Paraguaná, Falcon. Not present on the offshore Los Roques archipelago nor on the nearby ABC Netherlands Antilles (Ref. 125603). Also Ref. 26280, 26938. |
