Known as "li-yĆ¼" at Tungting Lake (Ref. 35840). Also occurs in Ulungur lake, Erqishi and Yili rivers (Ref. 41093). A popular cultured fish, introduced from its native range to other regions in the country for culture and extensive stocking in all kinds of inland waters (Ref. 55380). Also found in Beijiang River (Ref. 89718). Also Ref. 185, 9987, 12228, 35840, 43640, 45259.
