Collected once in the Gulf of Mexico, off the Florida Panhandle (29°10'N, 85°55'W) (Ref. 78464). Trawled (3 & 11 May 2000, 3-m otter trawl) specimens from ca 40 nautical miles (72 km) SE of Cape San Blas, Florida (FMNH 46438, 3 specimens) and vicinity of Dry Tortugas in the Straits of Florida, UF 43133, 109760, 111439 (Ref. 80062). |
