Found in Mekong and Chao Phraya basins (Ref. 26336); also from Nakhon Sawan, Kemarat (Ubon Ratchathani), Lop Buri river, Pa Sak river (Sara Buri) (Ref. 37773). Museum: Mekong river at Bung Kla (140 km N of Nakhon Phanom), CAS 67208 (Ref. 5515). Fishers in Loei Province reported that this species migrates downstream in October-November (Ref. 37770).
