Found in Bolivar (Soplaviento and Calamar), Tolima (Bernal Creek near Honda and Rio Magdalena, Honda), Cudinamarca (Rio Bogota and Rio Magdalena), Caldas (Rio Purnio, small tributary of Rio Miel, at or near junction of Rios Samana and La Miel near La Dorada), Antioquia (Rio Magdalena), and Cordoba (Rio SinĂº basin). Also known from the San Jorge and Cesar rivers and the lower portion of the Cauca river (Ref. 26543).
