Although in Ref. 33857 reported from the Okavango, upper Zambezi and Kunene in a list with the freshwater species of Namibia, on p. 51 it is explicitely stated that the only Kneria species at present captured within the boundaries of Namibia is K. maydelli (Ref. 33857). In addition, Skelton 1993, 2001 (Ref. 7248, 52193) reports K. polli only in the upper reaches of the Okavango, upper Zambezi and Kunene, which is outside of Namibia. Ref. 52863 only uses Ref. 7248 and Ref. 33857 to report the presence of K. polli in Namibia.
