Known only from Ewens Ponds near Mount Gambier, South Australia and from a small creek at Winnap (Glenelg River system) in western Victoria (Ref. 5259). NMV: Glengulin Creek, Winnap, Victoria A.3530 (holotype) (Ref. 7300). Adversely affected by Oncorhynchus mykiss, Salmo trutta, Perca fluviatilis, Cyprinus carpio and Gambusia holbrooki (Ref. 48787). Also Ref. 44894.
