Found all over Cambodia with the exception of highlands streams. Specially common in large rivers and on the lower Mekong floodplain. Marketed fresh and sometimes put on ice for shipment to Thailand (Ref. 12693). Found around the Tonle Sap River and the Great Lake (Ref. 36651), Stung Chinit, Mae Khong at Areyksat, Prek Men, Rocakong, Peam Chikang, Kaskos, Bac Nam and Prey Veng (Ref. 36654).
