Remarks Common in shallow waters, found in bare sand and rock, grass and algae-covered bottoms and coral reefs (Refs. 122743, 122744). Rare in muddy areas (Refs. 122743, 122744) and deep lagoons (Refs. 122743). Active only during day time, burrows in the sand and sleeps in rock or coral shelters at night (Ref. 122744).
