ຂໍ້ສັງເກດ Inhabit very turbulent waters; also occur inshore waters of lakes; in warm lakes, may move offshore into deep water during the heat of summer; may eat fish eggs (Ref 1998). Young up to 4 months are pelagic (Ref. 1998). Form schools (Ref. 1998). Insectivorous (Ref. 10294, 54729). Feed on mayflies, blackflies, and midges (Ref. 1998, 10294).
