পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 1; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 7. Dorsal and pectoral spines with filamentous projections. Snout strongly projecting. Nasal barbel reaching the eye; maxillary barbel reaching anal fin. Anal fin with 2 simple rays and 8 branched rays (Ref. 40780).
