背棘 (總數): 0; 背的軟條 (總數): 181-192; 臀棘 0; 臀鰭軟條: 142 - 152; 脊椎骨: 150 - 153. Edges of unpaired fins dark, pectoral fins light. Branchial chamber light. Eyes round, pupils narrow and vertical. Dorsal fin originates slightly anterior to the insertions of the pectorals.
