পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 0; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 12; পায়ূ কাঁটা 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 8. Along the middle of the sides are a series of elongated blotches; the dorsal mid-line with a series of 6-8 irregular dark saddles; small suborbital flap in males (Ref. 27732).

Occurs in shallow water over sandy substrate (Ref. 27732).
