Dorsal spines (total): 2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5; Anal soft rays: 19 - 21. Pelvic and pectoral fins densely covered with dark pigment, at least along anterior rays, in contrast to the hyaline fins of its congeners (Ref. 54767).
