Marine; demersal; depth range 41 - 171 m (Ref. 9626), usually 60 - 110 m (Ref. 9626). Tropical; 11°N - 6°N
Western Central Atlantic: Venezuela to at least Suriname (Ref. 5217); including Trinidad (Dooley, pers. comm., Ref. 26938).
