Max length : 3.4 cm TL male/unsexed; (Ref. 11482)
Prefers rocky substrata where it may be observed "perched" on a rock or cliff face, or protruding from a crevice. Does not form large aggregations. Preys upon various benthic invertebrates but will "grab" small planktonic organisms that continually drift in the current and surge (Ref. 28023).
