Diagnosis

Diagnosis: A small species of Garra with smoothly rounded snout, rostral lobe absent, proboscis absent, snout tubercles rudimentary, predorsal region, chest and abdomen scaled, two pairs of barbels, lateral line scales 30-31 (usually 31), circumpeduncular scales 16. Distinguished from other species of Garra by the color pattern, which includes a row of 6-7 dark blotches along the side. Predorsal vertebrae 8, vs. 9-10 in other species of Garra in the Rakhine Yoma.
