Diagnosis

Description: Characterized by light brown color with irregular, brown blotches and mottling ; pectoral fins blackish; dorsal and anal fins with narrow white margin; dorsal fin origin nearly at tip of snout; caudal rays 13-15, continuous with dorsal and anal fins; eyed side pelvic fin joined with anal fin; small pectoral fins; lateral line of eyed side with 115 scales; ctenoid scales on eyed side, cycloid on blind side; scaly interorbital separates eyes; filamentous lips, eyelids and some patches on chin and nape of eyed side; body and median fins with clusters of short filaments; depth of body 1.8-2.4 in SL (Ref. 90102).
