Remarks Males have two lamina circularis at the based of first (unbranched) and second (unbranched) pectoral rays. Males have longer pectoral fin ,19.6-19.7 of SL (vs. 14.5-16.9 %SL in females).

Diagnosis

Cobitis dorademiri is distinguished from all its congeners by the combination of following characters: 5th Gambetta zone absent, second zone formed by round brown blotches, reduced to few spots behind the dorsal fin; caudal peduncle short (9.7-13.5 %SL) and deep (12.7-14.2 %SL), and base of caudal fin with more than one spots (mean 3-5) (Ref. 115646).
