Body with distinct dark oblique shoulder bar, scale margins rimmed with narrow dark line forming reticulate pattern usually overlaid by narrow dark bars and dorsal saddles; 2 dark spot at caudal base (Ref. 43716). Longitudinal scales 29-33; TRB 9-12; predorsal scales 12-19, small, reaching to above preopercular margin; scales on body mostly ctenoid; first dorsal spine white and always longest, often filamentous (Ref. 43716). Caudal fin rounded to oval (Ref. 43716). |
