Diagnosis

Red with orange bands along the back. Two dark areas on caudal peduncle that show as black spots underwater (Ref. 48635).

Description: Characterized by having alternating, narrow, longitudinal bands of orange and pale yellow anteriorly, shading to broad zone of magenta posteriorly; upper and lower base of caudal fin with large deep magenta blotch, followed in each fin lobe by yellow blotch; greatest depth of body 3.7-4.0 in SL; deeply lunate caudal fin; pectoral fins 3.5-3.7 in SL; pelvic fins 4.6-4.9 in SL (Ref. 90102).
