Comments: | Pending more detailed study, date of introduction assumes fish was found two years prior to publication of Ref. 12813. Migrated to Iskenderun, Turkey from the Red Sea through the Suez Canal. Recorded from Gokova Gulf (Aegean Sea) in 1991-1994 and Kusadasi Bay (Aegean Sea) in August 2004 in 3m depth (Ref. 90866). One of the most common species captured by beach seines in Iskenderun Bay, especially at depths shallower that 10m (Ref. 94602). Also Ref. 50162. Ref: Kosswig, C., 1950 |
