Comments: Recorded from Vancouver Island, the Juan de Fuca Strait and Johnstone Strait (Ref. 4925). Common in the Strait of Georgia up to a depth of 275 m (Ref. 6885). In range Ref. 2850. Taken with hook and line and spears by game fishers. The combined daily limit for all sculpin and rockfish species caught ranges from 5 to 8 depending on the area (Ref. 11007). Also Ref. 95452.
