Comments: Generally distributed in shallow inshore areas of coastal British Columbia. Reported from the Strait of Georgia and the west coast of Vancouver Island (Ref. 4925). First definite locality record is said to the be the Queen Charlotte Islands (Ref. 4925). In range Ref. 2850. Does not appear to form large aggregations. Taken with hook and line by game fishers. Combined daily limit for all flounder and sole species caught is 8 (Ref. 11007).
