Comments: Generally distributed along the coast. There are small isolated populations at the heads of many inlets. Common in the Strait of Georgia and northern Hecate Strait (Ref. 4925). Recorded from Howe Sound (Ref. 91783). Taken with hook and line by game fishers (Ref. 11007). Combined daily limit for all flounder and sole species caught is 8 (Ref. 11007). Known from Fraser estuary (Ref. 95148). Also Ref. 959119, 95148. In range Ref. 2850.
