Common around reefs throughout the coast. Taken with hook and line and spears by game fishers. The combined daily limit for all sculpin and rockfish species caught ranges from 5 to 8 depending on the area (Ref. 11007). Caught in Howe Sound near Vancouver (Ref. 91783).
