In the eastern Atlantic the northernmost records are from the southwest of Svalbard: 2 females (37 and 50 cm TL) at 77°16'N, 11°20'E, and a male (39 cm TL) and female (43 cm TL) at 76°56'N, 12°33'E (in Ref. 119696).
