Type locality of Potamotrygon rex; collected from the middle and upper rio Tocantins, from its main course and lower reaches of left and right bank affluents, and upland in the rios Paranã and Maranhão. It was also collected from lagoons marginal to the Tocantins main course (Ref. 115938). |
