Type locality, Northern Territory, East Alligator River, 3 km upstream from Cahills Crossing, NTM S.10618-001 (holotype of Leptachirus darwinensis, 7.0 cm Sl, male). Also collected from Cannon Hill Lagoon, of the East Alligator River, Jim Jim Creek of the South Alligator River, and Marrakai Creek of the Adelaide River, all freshwater areas (Ref. 84817). |
