Type locality: Oahu, Kaneohe Bay (21°26'N, 157°47'W), BPBM 38379 (holotype of Eviota susanae); (21°30'N, 157°48'W), outside barrier reef at main boat channel near end of bay, 22.6-25.6 m. Collected from patch reefs well back in the bay and from fouling communities on dock floats (Ref. 38034). Also in Ref. 122680.
