Found in large rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Known from Wami, Ruvu, Rufiji, Lake Rukwa, Lake Tanganyika, Malagarazi. Very abundant in Rukwa. Valuable as food and sport fish (Ref. 4967). Also Ref. 2880. |
