Known from Colhué Huapí Lake, Chubut, Negro, Limay, and Colorado rivers; Tulumaya stream and Puente de Fierro lake in the province of Mendoza (Ref. 55324). Also found in General Fernández Oro, Pellegrini Lake (Ref. 36889). Type locality: Colhué Huapí Lake, military facility at Comodoro Rivadavia, Río Senguerr basin, elev. 260 m. (Ref. 26282). Also Ref. 9086, 35302, 36889, 55324.
