Occurs off Argentina, on the continental shelf and slope from Buenos Aires to the Straits of Magellan (Ref. 1371, 27363). Collected by the fishing vessel 'Othori' from SE Isla de los Estados in February 1995, with the use of a mid-water trawl at 700 m depth (Ref. 41244). Also Ref. 8984.
