Ranges from Port Hedland in Western Australia to the Kent Islands (Bass Strait) in southern Australia (Ref. 6871). Recorded from Shark Bay (Ref. 115274). The northern populations are found mainly on the mid-continental slope while the southern populations are more common near the shore (Ref. 6871). |
