Found in southeastern China, Hainan (Ref. 43281). Also known from the Zhujiang River [=Pearl River] and the Red River (Ref. 26563); Qingyuan, Yingde, Yangshan, of Beijiang River drainages of Guangdong Province (Ref. 33326).

Known from Hainan Province: Wuzhishan, Ledong, Jiaji; Guangdong Province: Lianzhou, Yangshan(Ref.45620).
