Six specimens (22.0-33.0 cm TL) were caught by gill net from south of Basra, Arabian Gulf (29° 49’ 11.9’’N, 48° 45’ 50.31’’ E), at depths of 50-100 m last March 7, 2012. These new records confirm presence of the species in the Arabian Gulf and new record for the country (Ref. 117362). Also in Ref. 117365.
