Type locality of the holotype of B. cercops: 'Luambwa, Nzoia River, Nyanza province' (Ref. 104796). Known from some rivers in the Nyanza Province, part of the Lake Victoria basin (Ref. 27628, 52331, 97924). Also from Southern Ewaso Nyiro system (Ref. 52331, 97924), but this population needs to be studied in detail (Ref. 52331). |
